Important Update: 2026 Annual Member Awards Night Cancelled

Due to the severe flooding at the 2025 Wisconsin State Fair, the WBA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to forego our 2026 Annual Member Awards Night. Out of respect for the tight financial situation this situation has created, the Board feels it is most responsible to pause the in-person gala this year.

However, celebrating our members remains a top priority! Award nominations will still take place, and we highly encourage you to nominate your peers for their incredible work.

While we won't be gathering for a traditional banquet, this year's awards will be presented in a brand-new, highly visible way. The WBA will celebrate our 2026 honorees by:

• The Presidential Tour: Winners will receive a commemorative plaque or trophy presented to them in person by the WBA’s President and CEO right at their own bakery.

• Publicity & Press: WBA will coordinate local press activities and provide custom signage for winners to proudly display in their shops.

• Digital Features: Honorees will be spotlighted in special dedicated emails and featured prominently on wibakers.com.

We deeply appreciate your understanding as we navigate these circumstances, and we can’t wait to highlight our amazing members directly in their communities!

We'll recognize our member's achievements with awards including the Bakery of the Year, Bakers Hall of Fame, Baking Instructor of the Year, Partner of the Year, Legacy of Service Recognition, Most Valuable Baker (MVB), Rising Star, along with Recognition of Milestones.
