    We're looking forward to seeing everyone at our Fall Bakers Forum at Linda's Bakery in West Salem, WI hosted by Marc and Sue Anderson on Sunday, November 4, 2018!

    What is a Bakers Forum?

    A bakers forum is a place for WBA Members to meet and chat about what’s happening in the baking industry.  Some of the best conversations happen right at bakers forums!

    WBA Members are invited to enjoy a great day of learning and sharing! 

    • Marc and Sue Anderson invite you to their bakery for a “behind the scenes” tour!

    • Baking & Decorating sessions will include:
      - “Candy Cane Striped Bagels” by Ralf Tschenscher, Lesaffre Yeast Corporation
      - “Festive Fantasia Fondant” by the talented decorating team at Linda’s Bakery
      - Renee Crouse from Abel & Schafer will also be joining us to showcase a few awesome new products!

    • Enjoy a delicious lunch sponsored by Valley Cooperative Association and prepared by Linda’s Bakery

    • Learn “How to Clean up Your Labels” from Ralf Tschenscher

    • Swap Ideas - Hear from fellow bakery members ways to reduce waste (From repurposing products to recycling to “green” initiatives) Be prepared to share what’s working and what’s not!

    • Swap Equipment - Have something to sell? Bring it with or just bring along photos if the equipment is too large!

    Coming in from out of town for the Fall Bakers Forum?

    A room block has been set up at the Radisson in La Crosse for WBA Members. The room rate is $99.00 for standard king with a city view facing downtown La Crosse and $109.00 for a standard double queen with a view of the Mississippi river.

    Reservations must be made by Thursday, October 4, 2018, and attendees must ask for the WI Bakers Association rate when making their reservation. Any requests for special room arrangements must be made at the time of this reservation. All reservations must be guaranteed by one night’s deposit, a major credit card or by the Group Master Account. In addition, at the time of check-in each guest will be required to present a valid credit card for any incidental charges they may incur during their stay.

    The Hotel’s check in time is after 3:00 pm Central time, and check out is by 12:00 noon Central time. Guests arriving prior to 3:00 pm will be accommodated as rooms become available.
