    Stone Creek Bakery is a passion driven environment for honing the craft that is cooking and baking. We are a coffee-centric bakery, first and foremost, creating and preparing traditional and non-traditional foods to enjoy with coffee. Stone Creek Bakery provides scratch made pastry and food that is prepared daily and sold at our cafes and several wholesale accounts.

    Role Aspects:

    • SCHEDULING - Create the bakery production schedule to meet production needs within an established operating budget.
    • PROCESS DEVELOPMENT - Develop and update bakery standard operating procedures for efficiency. 
    • PRODUCTION PLANNING - Work with your team and resources to ensure all production needs for the upcoming day, week, and month are met.
    • PRODUCTION - Competent in all aspects of the bakery process and able to step in to support when needed on the production floor.
    • EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT - Manage all aspects of the employee’s life cycle, including performance management to ensure that all bakery team members are meeting bakery quality standards and providing remarkable care.   
    • SOPS - Accountable to maintain all SOPs and ensure team adherence.
    • COST CONTROL - Work with your team and vendors to control costs of goods sold while also maintaining quality expectations.

    Experience & Skills

    Required:

    • Inventory Management and ordering experience.
    • Minimum 1 year experience working in a production-style bakery.
    • Minimum 1 year in a leadership role responsible for performance management
    • History of leading through collaboration & delegation
    • Must be a problem solver who is self-motivated, and organized.  
    • Must have a working knowledge of federal and local food safety regulations and able to implement best practices to ensure compliance.

    Preferred:

    • Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
    • ServSafe Food Manager Certification
    • ServSafe Allergen Certification

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of an 8 hour shift
    • Must be able to transport up to 50 lbs
    • Must be able to work with bakery equipment including but not limited to ovens, knives and stoves safely.
    • Occasional exposure to heat and cool temperatures

    Compensation Structure:

    This is a salaried role with a base pay of $35K/year which, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

    Training:

    Paid food safety and on the job training.
